THE CHURCH MEMBERS PSALM
1- A Psalm of a church member. The pastor is my shepherd; I shall not
question.
2- He makes me attend his weekly services; He leads me
through his rule over me.
3- He restores my conformity: He guides me in the paths of
proper worship for his name's sake.
4- Yea, thou I have some doubts and perplexities, I will
feel no shame; for my pastor stands with me; his presence and counsel, they
soothe me.
5- He has raised his pastoral office before me in the
presence of his fellow elders; he has anointed my head with submission; his
authority runneth over.
6- Surely, “going to church” and “the giving of my tithes
and offerings” shall follow me all the days of my life; And I shall dwell in
his local institutional church for ever.
