"AS THE CHURCH BURNS"

Is "skipping church a really bad idea and spiritually dangerous for those who profess Christ?"

TEN TIPS FOR A PROFESSING CHRISTIAN WIFE

Little secrets lead to bigger secrets.  NEVER lie to or mislead your husband about ANYTHING because it won't be long before “your sin will find you out!”  Numbers 32:23

2

At some point, you will have to learn that life isn’t all about you. Philippians 2:3

3

Love is about relationship. "The more I love my husband, and seek a relationship with him, the less critical and duty-bound I become." Titus 2:4

4

Be very careful about reading romance novels; they set you up for an unrealistic view of romance.  1 Corinthians 15:33

5

Never live in your marriage with always "one foot out the door," just in case. Don’t give up.  Love never fails. 1 Cor. 13

6

Be thankful for the husband you have. Accept him as he is, not for what you want him to be. Colossians 3:15

Don’t compare!  Don’t buy into the game of comparing him with anyone else’s husband.  James 3:16

8

NEVER ask others, "Did I marry the right person?"  You are obviously indicating that you have never even committed to being a wife at all!  Proverbs 31:12

9

Always speak well of your husband in front of others. Colossians 4:6

10

Deal with difficulties directly with him, not with your “pastor,” your family, your girl friends, or Facebook friends. The success of the marriage is the important part, not whether you are right.  1 Peter 5:6
